- Houston Bike Plan—the City of Houston’s official cycling site, detailing the plan to add hundreds of miles of high-comfort bike right-of-way
- Toxic Shocks—Women Who Ride Bikes. Period.
Climate/Environmental Advocacy
- Air Alliance Houston—advocating for the right for everyone to breathe clean air, even here in Petropolis
- Citizens’ Environmental Coalition—pushing City Hall to adopt common-sense, environmentally sound policies of all types, especially expanding recycling services
- Extinction Rebellion Houston—world-wide, in-your-face, non-violent climate activism

- Sunrise Movement Houston—youth-led climate action group’s Facebook page
- Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services (t.e.j.a.s.)—leader of the Toxic Tours in low-income neighborhoods near Refinery Row
- 350.org Houston—science says 350 ppm atmospheric CO2 is the limit for sustaining life on earth; we’re at 417 and rising
Body Freedom/Social Nudity
- Healthy Hides of Houston—getting Houstonians out of their clothes since 1990
- Experimental Action—performance art biennial exhibition founded in 2012 (listed here because what’s a performance art show without nudity?)
- Art League Houston Open Studio Figure Drawing—$15 for members, $20 for non-members
- Houston’s Public Nudity Ordinance—if you ride H-Town WNBR, bookmark this!
- Texas’s Indecent Exposure Statute—scroll down to Section 21.08 and the extraordinarily vague law (bookmark this too)
