This space will start getting more activity in 2024 than in previous years. Every event we come across related to cycling activism or social nudity in Greater Houston will henceforth appear on this page, usually with a blog post to accompany it.
Before you ask: Yes, Critical Mass rides count as cycling activism, even though ours has long since turned into a giant social ride/excuse to indulge in Cycling in Large Groups While Intoxicated.

For all WNBR-type events, remember the FUNdamentals:
- The (un)dress code is Bare As You Dare. Test the upper limits of your daring.
- Dressing down DOES NOT give anyone license to touch or “hit on” fellow riders or spectators without their enthusiastic consent. Report unwelcome speech or behavior to the facilitators. Sexual activity during the event & preparations is a big no-no.
- Set a goal of getting to the ride and back with as little help from fossil fuels as possible.
- Bring & use a helmet, lights, shoes, & possibly a lock.
- Bring bike tools, replacement tubes, a small pump, etc. if you have such accessories.
- Limit your intake of alcohol, or other substances that may impair your riding, before & during the ride.
The consent rules also apply for non-cycling events such as Naked Tuesdays. Plus, at NT’s, no photography or videography is permitted even with consent, because you might inadvertently get someone in the shot who doesn’t want to be photographed.
